Just about everything we use has been improved upon since its invention; however one thing has stayed more or less the same for many years, the artist’s easel. The artist’s easel has altered little from its original design, and for an industry established on innovation and creative change it is a mystery why the artist’s easel has not really been improved upon.
It was clear that traditional easels in some way or another adversely affect artists work as they continually have to compensate for their outdated easel design. We wanted to overcome the limitations of the past, and create an easel suitable for the artists of tomorrow.
So at InnovARTive we gave the classic easel a good working over. We wanted to put the “ease” back into the easel, take the “pain” out of painting. Our goal was to make the easel work for the artist, and not the artist work around the easel.
At Innovartive we are artists, frustrated with the limitations of existing easels, so we developed what we think is a true piece of art…The InnovARTive Artist Easel.
